About Me
Hi. My name is Axel Schüssler. I’m an agile software engineer and coach.
I want my teams to feel confident about incremental delivery and continuous deployments to production. If you often can’t finish a user story within an iteration, or hesitate to deploy on a Friday — I can help you.
When I am not sitting in front of a keyboard, I enjoy reading, hiking, gaming, and spending time with family. You can occasionally find me at conferences, though I lately find more energy in just speaking with people instead of giving talks.
After graduating in bioinformatics at Tübingen, I worked for 12 years as a consultant for Novatec, a German IT consulting company. In 2024, I moved to Flip as Senior Staff Engineer. Any views I express here are mine, not those of of my current or former employer.
